There are three branches of the Great Silk Road along Tajikistan: 1) North / Sogdian stretches between Samarkand (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 2) West–East / Karotegin stretches between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Kashgar (China); 3) South / Pamir stretches between Termez (Uzbekistan) and Tashkent (China).
These ancient routes were formed by the Persian, Greek, Chinese and Arab peoples, who made a huge contribution to the socio–economic relations — trade and culture of the whole world between the V – XII centuries.
In order to learn more about the contribution of this way to the culture and civilization of the Tajik people, there will be presented a tour package “Great Silk Road in Tajikistan”
